Clockwork

Once upon a time when time ran by clockwork. Inspired by the book “Clockwork or All Wound Up” by Philip Pullman and created for Live Artena.

“Real clockwork is quite mysterious enough… And once you’ve wound up a clock, there’s something frightful in the way it keeps on going at its own relentless pace.”

A Walking Tour of Edinburgh

A journey through time was created by plotting historic photos from Robert Louis Stevenson's past onto a map of Edinburgh. Used by Eskimo and Edinburgh Libraries for promotion at the Edge Conference 2012. Designed while working at Eskimo.

Mimi's Bakehouse

Mimi’s Bakehouse serves Belly Busting Breakfasts, Lavish Lunches, Awe-Inspiring Afternoon Tea and a selection of fabulous cakes on the Shore in Edinburgh. Mimi’s was commended for Corporate Identity at the Scottish Design Awards 2011 and published in the book Delicious Branding by SendPoints in 2013. It has been such a success that they opened an extension within two years of launch and Mimi’s Picnic Parlour on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. Designed while working at Eskimo.

The Paper Mill

Illustrations for the Paper Mill’s drinks menu commissioned by the Touch Agency, Edinburgh. The Paper Mill is a restaurant and bar situated on the River Esk in Lasswade in a former paper mill.

 

Carry a Poem

The reading campaign, Carry a Poem, was launched by Edinburgh UNESCO City of Literature Trust and the Scottish Poetry Library. Ten thousand copies of the book were distributed throughout Edinburgh and the actor Alan Cumming and GMTVs Lorraine Kelly took part.

Design and illustration of a book, leaflets, posters, pocket cards and other promotional material.

Italian Inventions

Objects important in Italy’s story and a quirky text to go with each one. La Moka was shortlisted for the Association of Illustrators Awards 2013. All of the posters are available to buy as A3 or A4 prints on Hahnemühle FineArt Photo Rag 310gsm in my shop.
